Knowing he exists for me and I, for him, and feeling the intensity even before the first glance is astounding. Magical.
Between us is where communication is at its easiest.. where acceptance is at its most natural. Between us is where insecurities become gaps for one to heal.. where fears become moments to protect the other.
A love that survives and will survive anything.. Transcending race, time, distance and so many other differences. A love that couldn’t be entirely human for it is limitless and is never fleeting nor superficial. The elusive, one true love that only God can create for two people to have and share and grow together with.
To express with saying ”I love you” becomes vastly insufficient in time and the longing being made well by touch becomes a brief silver lining. Because the truth is, touching would again not be enough.. because we could never be close enough to each other.
He makes me aware of how beautiful life is with him and how harsh it was without him. When the time comes, he will know how to draw me near, in a way that no one else can. And feeling his heartbeat next to mine.. will be like coming home to my own self.
